Dear Lions, We are pleased to share that Lions Club of Bangalore Banjara successfully carried out a Humanitarian Service Activity by distributing grocery kits to members of the transgender community. The event was presided over by Ln. Ratheesh V L, our First Vice President, and supported by Six dedicated Lion volunteers who took part in this meaningful service. This noble activity was sponsored by Ln. Rebin Thomas Thomas and family. Hi Lions Greetings from Lions Club of Bangalore Banjara, We are pleased to share that LCB Banjara successfully conducted a Diabetic and Health Awareness Program on 12th April 2025 at Agra Lake, Hormavu from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The program received a wonderful response, with 72 morning walkers participating. The following health checks were carried out: Blood Pressure Glucometer Test (both before and after breakfast) Body Parameters including BMR, BMI, Weight, Height, Body Fat %, Visceral Fat, and Body Age. We had 10 dedicated Lion volunteers who actively participated in organizing and executing the event, contributing a total of 30 volunteer hours. The total expense for the activity was INR 5,100. We are especially grateful for the valuable guidance and involvement of Lion Dr. Rinku Madam and our nursing expert Ln. Santhy Mathew Madam. Their expertise greatly benefitted the participants, offering them valuable insights into their health status and guidance on necessary lifestyle modifications.
