Hi Lions, Happy Women's Day to all our family members.........!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are delighted to share that LCB Banjara successfully conducted our Diabetic and Health Awareness Program – Activity 8. The event witnessed a great turnout from the public, with 15 dedicated Lion volunteers actively participating. We were also pleased to have an interested new member join us for the program. During today's activity, we conducted diabetes screening and important body parameter checks for 77 individuals. Our very own Dr. Rinku personally guided each participant with valuable insights on the dos and don’ts for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, which was highly beneficial for all the walkers visiting our camp. Lion Dr. Ratheesh served as the presiding officer for the event, and we extended our heartfelt Women's Day greetings to Ln. Dr. Rinku, Ln. Sathy, and our supporting staff, Bini Madam. Special appreciation also goes to Ln. Rebin, who delivered the vote of thanks on behalf of LCB Banjara and the Service Activity Coordination Committee. A big thank you to all our Lions who participated and contributed to making this program a grand success. We look forward to your continued support in our upcoming activities and meetings. Dear Lions, We are pleased to share that our Diabetes & Health Awareness Camp -6 was successfully conducted on 15th February 2025. Under the leadership of our Permanent Project Committee Chairperson, Ln. Thomas Philip, and with the active involvement of our Club President, Ln. Raphi Jose, the event was efficiently organized and well executed. The camp commenced at 7:00 AM and concluded by 9:30 AM, benefiting 65 individuals through essential health screenings and awareness sessions. We sincerely appreciate the contributions of our Lion experts, Ln. Santhy Madam and Ln. Rinku Madam, whose guidance and expertise added immense value to the initiative. A heartfelt thank you to all our dedicated Lion members, participants, and non-Lion supporters, whose involvement made this event a success. We also acknowledge the efforts of the six committed Lion volunteers who contributed their time, ensuring the smooth execution of the program. The total expenditure for this activity was INR 4,750, and we collectively dedicated 18 Lion hours towards this noble cause. As part of Lions International’s Global Cause: Youth Support, Lions Club of Bangalore Banjara identified a deserving 11th standard student facing financial difficulties and donated a scholarship of INR 10,000 towards his college fees. The contribution was made during our Region Meet, reinforcing our commitment to empowering youth through education. This October, as part of our Permanent Service Activity Program, Lions Club Banjara conducted a Free Diabetic Checkup, Health Screening, and Awareness Camp to support our community’s health and well-being. Through this initiative, we successfully provided essential services to 74 community members, offering them vital health screenings and spreading awareness about diabetes management and prevention

a permanent Free Diabetic Checkup and Health Awareness Service, to be held every month at Agara Lake, Horamavu! ???????? The service was officially launched on 28th September 2024. The event was inaugurated by Lion Raphi Jose, President of the Lions Club of Bangalore Banjara, with Lion Dr. Rinku Mathappan leading the program. Special thanks to Lion Ashok Babu, Lion Sumesh, Lion Pavithran, Lion Thomas, Lion James, and all the dedicated members of the Lions Club Banjara who made the inaugural event a grand success! We are proud to share that over 60 people were served on the very first day.
